Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the maiden important achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he previously was, and would seriously think about extending his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
